As a part of its ongoing initiatives to build an ergonomic India, Bengaluru based S Cube Ergonomics Pvt. Ltd (S Cube), the authorized India Distribution partner of Humanscale, has announced a slew of initiatives in the last 6 months to promote good ergonomic posture at the workplace in collaboration with Humanscale. New York headquartered Humanscale is the leading global designer and manufacturer of high-performance ergonomic products that improve the health and comfort of work life.
S Cube has been founded by Sathish Nandagopal, who has over 26 years of diverse sales experience in Direct Sales, Business Development, Channel Sales (B2B & B2C), Dealer Management & Relationship Management. He is adept at managing business operations with a focus on top-line & bottom-line performance and expertise in determining a company’s mission & strategic direction as conveyed through policies & corporate objectives. Prior to establishing S Cube in 2014, Sathish was handling senior sale profile with leading brands Interface, Alucobond, Honeywell, minimax, Ceasefire, Krueger International.
Working from home, which has now become the new normal for most, can be extremely stressful and rotating between the bed/sofa/dining chair and the floor is potentially bad for health, the most common physical issues being neck stiffness, hunched posture, wrist aching and fatigue. In this scenario, finding the perfect chair and a desk that are well integrated with other ergonomic tools that meet the WFH requirements is an absolute must.
As a first major initiative, S Cube had announced the national launch of its Plug & Play Ergonomic Home Office Set-up. Subsequently, with a view to protect ‘Study From Home (SFH)’ students from physical hazards and musculoskeletal disorders, S Cube had announced the national launch of its Ergonomic Home Study Station. This ‘SFH-Student Package’ consists of an Ergonomic Chair, Fixed Desk, Monitor Arm, Keyboard Tray, Foot Rocker and a two drawer Pedestal, making it a complete Study Station providing ergonomic support and comfort while learning from home.
Again continuing its campaign, S Cube then announced the national launch of its yet another innovative initiative ‘eRental’ wherein individuals, start-ups and large companies (having most of their employees working from home) can rent at highly affordable prices, the Humanscale range of WFH ergonomic products.
Buying a complete workstation of international standard that truly enables good posture thro’ proven ergonomic support and comfort while working from home could be an expensive proposition for an already financially stressed workforce especially if the WFH mode is not going to be a permanent situation and the user would be either going back to the office or going to relocate after some time.
